This annual fall event which is free to the public features exhibitors and programs presented about history, nature and the local community. In addition, Park staff and volunteers will be throughout the park presenting interpretive programs.

What is a Chautauqua? 
Chautauquas were educational and cultural enrichment programs organized and promoted starting in the late 19th century. Texas Governor Pat Neff (son of Isabella "Mother" Neff) promoted and hosted such events in the 1920's on land which would become Mother Neff State Park.
